We stopped in for an early dinner as we can be guaranteed an excellent meal whenever we come here. Seb & Alex were amazing hosts - providing both wine & food suggestions.

We started with the chef's zucchini treat (complimentary) - moved on to an excellent salad with gizzards & duck breast - shared a chicken stew (very tender & flavourful) - and finished with some decadent profiteroles for dessert. A nice bottle of Red & a few rum liqueurs topped off another great dinner in Orient Bay.

A must visit every year!

We have eaten here for several years and Sebastien always makes the meal an occasion. Like most places in the Village at Orient the fish is fresh and the meal have a Gallic twist although Sebastien's service raises this above most . he is always smiling and happy to help his customers travel through the menu and specials.

What sets Le P'tit apart is the attention they pay to braised dishes. This traditional method of preparing lesser cuts of beef produces a tasty flavorful dish be it Pot au Feu or Boeuf Bourguignon. I would tend to reorder the Burgundy beef stew as I think it has more flavor. Pot au Feu is started in plain water and all of its flavor comes from the additions while Beef Burgundy style starts with a mirrepoix and builds from there with each ingredient adding its own note to the depth of the dish.

We shared the special: fresh caught mahi-mahi trilogy (stone grilled, carpaccio and tatare) was out of this world. We began the meal with a French onion soup (my husband liked it and said it was good). I began with a plain Caesar salad (the dressing was fresh, unusual and fabulous).
I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner.

Although I would rate this below adjacent restaurants Le Piment and Le table d'Antione, it was very good and service( and attention from Sebastian) was excellent. This was our first dinner in Orient Bay and if not for the other two restaurants above, we would have returned. We had the seafood (shrimp) pasta and grilled Mahi Mahi, and both were excellent. It is hard to rate one of these restaurants over the other when they are all so good!

We had two wonderful dinners at Le P'tit during our stay in St. Martin. There are so many places to eat in Orient Village, Grand Case and the Cul de Sac but Le P'tit has become a must stop for an authentic french dinner.

Sebastian and Val lead the way for your trip to France with a warm greeting and help lead you through the menu. They will explain to you any dish you have question about and all the specials. They have different fish specials every day of the week along with a few appetizer and main course options.

They start you out with a 'Must Try' with changes daily that the chef makes any you need to guess the vegetable of the day. We tried many different dishes including the Mahi Mahi and trigger fish and was not disappointed by any of them.

Sebastian recommended we try the Tartiflate (sp) which is a french potato dish and it was remarkable. In addition, we've had the shrimp and rack of lamb dishes.

The dessert not to be missed is the cookies n cream. It comes in a big glass with homemade cookies.

Keep up the excellent work Sebastian & Val. We'll be back next time we visit the island.
