Visited mid afternoon Good Friday...not the best day I'm sure as the pub was really busy! However there were plenty of (generally) helpful young members of staff so no long delays but tables could have been cleaner!
Cant say the food was anything special but it was good and the only place I have ever ordered fish & chips and there wasn't a bit of batter to be seen...quite a surprise.
Beer was apparently good (not me drinking it) as was the wine and it seemed good value.
Probably worth trying again on a quieter day.
