It was a pleasure to stay here for 3 nights during the May Bank Holiday weekend. We were looking for accommodation that would offer something a bit more intimate than the big, faceless, touristy hotels that are commonplace in Majorca. Petit Hotel exceeded all of our expectations. Perched on a hill, the infinity pool is set against a panoramic view of the Mediterranean countryside which never gets old. The hotel is tastefully decorated, the bed super comfortable and the breakfasts bespoke, complete with a fresh smoothie. Alex and Susan were a pleasure to deal with and get to know, offering useful suggestions on activities, places to eat and sights to see. We had dinner here one night and thoroughly enjoyed the food/wine, which would be comparable to any of the top eating spots in London (where we currently live). For those reasons we have no hesitation in recommending this place and look forward to returning!

Hi Brooke & Shane,

Thank you for your kind words. We are delighted you enjoyed your weekend break with us.

We are happy you enjoyed our breakfasts (with the smoothies and local pastries) and dinner at our restaurant. Aren't the Mallorquin wines great? We love them so much that we almost solely feature them on our wine list, they are a real hidden gem of great quality.

We hope we get to welcome you back one day soon.

Very best,
Alex & Susan

This small hotel well deserves all the positive reviews as it really delivers on location, hospitality, quality and an attention to detail that you really notice.

The two hosts, Alex and Susan look after everyone staying here with a natural warmth and good local knowledge that leaves you feeling that you are their very special guests in this beautiful Mallorcan country house style boutique hotel.

Rooms are elegant, comfortable and beautifully decorated with art pieces. The whole hotel is bright and airy with sunshine pouring in every window. Our ultra modern bathroom had fluffy towels, aromatic toiletries, a deluxe shower and a Jacuzzi bath.

This hotel delivers a gold standard of hospitality in every aspect and with its idyllic location, offers scenic beauty, sunshine a warm welcome and a respite from the fast pace and noise of city life. Super fast Wi-Fi is also a great addition if you can't entirely leave work behind or do without Netflix.

Food at the hotel is excellent and the wonderful breakfasts on the terrace with smoothies, local pastries and an innovative cooked menu are a daily highlight.

This hotel delivers at the level of the best of the 'Small, Luxury Hotels of the World' category (and we have stayed in a few) and its situation in this stunning part of North West Mallorca keeps it an undiscovered secret, but maybe just 'for now' as anyone staying at Son Arnau will want to become regular visitors.

As first time visitors to the island we were stunned and enchanted by the beauty of unspoilt rural Mallorca and delighted by the Michelin star level range of restaurants within easy reach of Selva.

Room Tip: For extra space try the Junior Suite

We felt so lucky to find this hotel to stay on our short vacation! Our purpose was mainly cycling, and the location of Son Arnau is exellent if you plan on cycling and/ or climb the beautiful area of Tramuntana mountains.
But: if you also want a little luxury ( but still cosy) this is your place!
Susan and Alex ( the owners) are absolutely delightful persons and very helpful.
The breakfast is awesome ( not buffet-type BUT exellent quality, hand made - and don't doubt that it wouldnt fill our stomach enough, because it will!)
The room we had, was very nice, it had own terrace, and was very spacious.
We could't wish for more.
Absolutely recommend!

Dear Tiina & Lasse,

Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review.

We are delighted you found us for your cycling break as we believe Selva is the perfect location to discover Mallorca from by bike... and then to then return and enjoy the hotel facilities after your ride is special.

We pride ourselves on our a-la-carte breakfast and try to portion it to make you feel ready to take on the day, whether you are going out on the bike or want to relax by the pool. We are so pleased to hear it gave you what you needed to take on the challenging mountains by bike.

Thanks again for your lovely words and we look forward to seeing you again next year,
Alex & Susan
