Perfect location walking distance to Asakusa Shrine. We were so lucky to witnessed the Sanja Matsura festival during our visit. The hotel was the last stop of the festival parade and it was a great experienced. Our room was overlooking Tokyo Tower, best to watch sunrise. Room was quite small but enough for 2 persons. The hotel is in the prime location, a lot of restaurants nearby. It was nice to try local street food right outside Asakusa Shrine.I will definitely recommend this hotel. Walking distance to metro station.

Room tip: Room facing Tokyo Sky Tower one of the best.

Really a perfect hotel for transitioning from elsewhere into Japan and Tokyo. Amazing views of the Tokyo Tower – highest tower in the world – and the nearby shrine and temple --from the big windows in your room! Located in a more low key area, not in the heart of Tokyo and not posh -- but easy to catch subway to anywhere quickly. Good reasonable food options nearby. Breakfast buffet was the best of any we had in Japan! Best to go early to breakfast to beat the crowd.

We stayed for four nights at this hotel. The carpets in the hallway on our floor needs a good cleaning or to be replaced, there are a lot of stains on them. Our room was a good size. The buffet restaurant at night requires reservations. If the buffet breakfast is not included in your room rate, then it is expensive. I was not impressed with the breakfast buffet. The hotel was always very busy and sometimes there was a wait for the elevators. It is close to the subway and there are always taxis waiting outside. Also the airport limousine bus stops here twice a day.

The area round the hotel itself is a little quiet but both Asakusa underground stations are close (there are 2 entirely separate Asakusa stations with different lines so check before you set off!) Akihabara is only a few stops away and you can be in the centre of town in 20-30 mins.

The room was a decent size for Tokyo, and very clean. The bed was comfortable. It's not a room to spend a lazy day relaxing in, but for somewhere to rest between touring the city it is absolutely perfect.

The staff were really helpful and especially with sorting Skytree and subway tickets, and taking care of luggage. The cafe inside the hotel is good but a little pricey, but there is a mart 2 minutes walk away and numerous restaurants and convenience stores in the area.
