The Richmond rooms are very nice and modern. Good room amenities. Great location. Close to the train station and many shopping areas. The staff was very attentive and hospitable. I would return again.

It was a novel experience to stay in a bedroom overlooking a mini fair ground in a major city. The big dipper certainly added interest but thankfully, not noise. In other respects, this is a good, reasonably priced hotel in the heart of Tokyo's Asakusa district. It is conveniently located for the Senso- ji Temple and many restaurants. Public transport is a short walk away
Rooms are of adequate size and well equipped with the exception of a safe.
Breakfasts were excellent and could be taken in a traffic street location as well as the restaurant.

Stayed: May 2018

Hotel is in a great tourist location close to the Sensoji temple and has good access to subway/trains, restaurants and shopping for souvenirs. The room was small but comfortable and quiet. Water bottles were provided daily. They have a laundromat with washer/dryer combination machines which was very convenient. The breakfast was delicious - Japanese and Western options - my favorite was the okra! Service at the front desk, the breakfast room, and maid service were all excellent and made our 4 day stay very enjoyable.

The hotel is in a good location close to shops restaurants and the Sensoji Temple. The room was small. They advertise free international calls but this is limited to a few countries. (none in Europe).

What really impressed me about this hotel was the quality of service. I have stayed at eight different hotels in Tokyo and Sapporo in the past two years, and the staff at this hotel is the best. They are exceedingly polite, and are very knowledgeable about the area and its transportation facilities, and I heard one staff member speak fluent English, which made communication for me a breeze. I also really liked the location of the hotel in relation to major tourist attractions. The "moderate double" room in which I stayed was average.
