Great location for exploring Asakusa and surrounds, conveniently close to a Tokyo Metro station as well. Keep in mind though, the other more happening parts of Tokyo (Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya, Roppongi) are some distance away (about half an hour by public transport), so how convenient it is for you will depend on what you have planned for your trip.
We found the hotel itself clean and comfortable enough. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Bear in mind though, there is no lift, so you had better be prepared to carry your luggage up/down stairs. Having said that, we had left our luggage with them while we wandered the area for a few hours before check in time, and returned to find that the staff had kindly brought our luggage to our rooms already.
While the room itself didn't get much in the way of street noise, odd noises seemed to come through the ducts, wherever they were connected to, as if people were splashing around in a pool and moving things..
The hotel does have free WiFi, and we found that it worked consistently and was fast.
