Older style hotel, clean though rooms are allowed smoking so as a non smoker you could imagine the stench!!

Pros -
Access to stations and metro
Close to temples and pond
Breakfast options yummy, decent price
Staff lovely

Cons -
Bed and pillows very uncomfortable
Smoking hotel so it was gross

Wouldn't stay here again other options for hotels also in areas. Only stayed here as it was the joining location for a tour we were on.

Rooms are clean, and the location is easy to access if you are coming from NRT. But the value really isn't there compared to some other Tokyo hotels. It's right outside the doors of the airport express rail line though.

I love this hotel because they hava a real 3beds room(3beds separate) and hotel have full facilities in room.
staffs are very very nice and helpful.
just 3min. by walk you can visit to Ameyoko market
only 10second Yes, 10second to walk to Keisei Station and 3min. walk to Ueno station.
and the last one, the hotel is old style but I don't care because hotel is clean and staff is highty experienced.

It meet our needs for our first night in Tokyo. Great Location in Ueno and close to the JR and metro stop. Some people may find the rooms small but it was OK for me. Good shower. Reception was polite and helpful and they kept our bags for the day. Did not spend much time in the rooms except to sleep.

The location of this hotel is excellent opposite ueno station but that is the only good thing. The rooms smell of stale smoke and are shabby. The staff are not helpful at all. We requested a room in a quiet location months ago and they did not provide this at all. We were on the second floor facing the road. Very noisy!
