This place was so cool! After walking by a few times in the evening and seeing huge lineups, we were so happy to show up at lunchtime on a Friday (around 12:30PM) to see no lineup at all.

The seating is side by side at very long tables, facing the conveyor belt and your tablet. You have everything you need at your little space to enjoy your meal, including: green tea powder, cups, a tap with hot water, spoons, chopsticks, soy sauce, wasabi, ginger, seasonings, wet napkins for cleaning your hands, tiny bowls for pouring your soy sauce, and takeout boxes. Once seated, you order your food from the tablet (they have an English option and it was very easy to follow). You're allowed to order up to 3 items at a time before submitting your order. Within a couple of minutes, you get an alert on your tablet that the food is on its way, and seconds later a plate will arrive at your spot via the conveyor belt. You take your plate, and press a button on the tablet to confirm that you received your order. It was simple, quick and efficient, not to mention futuristic and novel.

The food itself was fresh and excellent. We tried many things, including salmon and tuna nigiris, a few variety of makis, shrimp tempura, udon noodle soup, and more.

Once you're done eating, you indicate on your tablet that you're finished and the bill will get sent up front to the cashier, We ordered so much food and were stuffed to the point of nearly exploding, yet our meal came to less than 1,000 yen each which we were shocked to see (ridiculously cheap).

We were looking forward to trying everything typically Japanese on our trip, including kaiten-zushi, and were thrilled to see that this wasn't just another tourist trap (in fact there were plenty of Tokyokko eating there when we went). I'd highly recommend this for a unique and inexpensive meal!

Be prepared to wait - we queued for 45 minutes on a Sunday evening. The menu had lots of options and the tablets you order on were easy to use. We tried a bit of everything but my personal favourites were the tempura prawn nigiri and the prawn mayonnaise maki. The novelty value is excellent, seeing your food whizz towards you on automated hydraulics is so satisfying! I didn't think quality of some of the sushi was great, such as the salmon set, but it's excellent value for money.

This place sometimes requires a bit of waiting at the door but very little waiting once you order. The prices are very reasonable so we tried different dishes and really all of them were fresh and good. The order and delivery systems almost justify the visit on their own.

Got a seat both times I visited but can be busy and need to wait. Quality is generally good no matter where you are in tokyo so don't let the price fool you. Cheap, fast service, fun as you order on tablets and it's delivered to you on a train type of rail. Both visits were great happy to go again.

For starters, you order sushi with some tablets and it flies by on a board on a railing. The prices are very reasonable and the quality and quantity are great (especially for what you pay), given that you get an udon soup the size of a cereal bowl for 180 ¥ and the sheer variety of the menu deserves a paragraph on its own (like, what the L is a flounder fin!?)

Surprisingly enough, drink cost is also very reasonable, as you get a large 20 ounce(ish) drink for 180 yen and a small 14 ounce(ish) drink for 120, but beer is super expensive, running you around 450 yen for a jar. It also has a wide variety of deserts on offer, but I didn't try any of them

Its slick user interface makes it very quick and fun to order, and the mere fact that your food arrives on a board on a railing is sure to get you every time, but beware, as, despite its low price, if you aren't weary, you might end up gobbling up 30 sushi and drinking 3 beers and having thousands of yen on your individual bill and not notice, thanks to its tempting interface.

My gripes with it are its long waiting times outside, its time limit(although it didn't give me problems) the fact that sometimes your order takes ages to arrive,(although I get its not the chef's fault do no complaining) and that the allergen and nutrition list is in japanese.

Overall a very nice place to eat and highly recommended to all ages. But keep little children's orders under surveillance as they can go mad with all the menu options
