My teenaged daughter had put this on her list of "must-sees" while in Tokyo - and yes, it was all about the waving cats. While it was a bit of a trek outside the main hub of the city, it was pleasantly quiet and had a serene atmosphere. The back story about how it became the cat temple was really interesting, and all three of my teenaged kids were excited to see the amazing collection of waving cats in all sizes.
