I prefer Haneda over Narita. It is much more convenient to Tokyo. I rode the monorail from my hotel at the Tennozu station. I especially like the EDO shopping area above the departure desks. Security and immigration are usually efficient and don’t cause any grief. Please stay away from this airport....I would like to keep it to myself! ;)
Located on the top floor of Haneda International Terminal. There is very good visibility to the whole airport and the landing and take-off airplanes.
Haneda TIAT Lounges have NO agreement with any airline or credit card company for Lounge access unless you are on a purchased first class or purchased business class ticket. Forget about airline status. Forget about Priority Pass, Platinum or Centurion cards. Better yet, forget about Haneda. Use Narita where such lunatic notions are tolerated. Or use ICN or HKG and dodge the whole issue. If you want to shower and freshen up? “Leave airport or use transit hotel.” Bad show.
Tattoos if you like me loves tattoos, Japan can be pretty hard still. You are not allowed to show tattoos in Gym , Spa, etc need to cover usually you get blue tape
Why ? JAPAN mafias is usually covered with tattoos, the saying is that to olympics 2020 that will change.
Telefon- the first thing to do when landed, by WiFi on airport, yes WiFi .
You need this and you can only by this at airport, and return afterwards. If you miss it’s possible to order and get it delivered but that can take a while
From Airport and you stay at hotel in Tokyo take the limousine buses around 900-1050 direct to your hotel 💕
Otherwise no big problem, just remember adapters, and that traffic comes from right side😅
It is a very busy airport but did have some time to go to the observation deck. It was not crowded at all and from the second floor deck you can see the city, most of the airport, lot of planes takong off and landing. It was worth a visit
