I stayed here for business during my recent trip to Tokyo.
The hotel is located in a nice area (Shirokanedai) and the subway stop (of the same name) is approximately 5 min walk. The closest JR station is Meguro Yamanote line which is about 20 min walk (uphill). In the evening, it can be a nice stroll back to hotel.
The hotel itself is big with a nice beautiful lobby facing its garden (unusual for Tokyo).
As a platinum member, I was upgraded to a renovated room (but not a suite) with free wifi and free breakfast. The room is good size for Tokyo, but the amenities are just standard. Nothing bad but nothing exciting. The breakfast spread is so so, decent selection but nothing fancy like one would expect from a 5 star hotel elsewhere in Asia.
I did use the gym (but not the pool) and I believe the gym was open to residents around the area. Selection is decent, but you do have to change your shoes to rental socks/shoes to work out (unusual for a Western style hotel, i find).
Overall, for the same price, you won't find similar hotel in more central area such as Shinjuku with similar size room. If you can find a good price for this hotel, then it is not a bad option.
