This is a simple hotel, about 1,5 km from the Shibuya-junction. But what makes it very good is reasonable pricing of the rooms. Be aware of that several rooms share bath/toilet, and others have own bathroom. They offer both japanese and western style rooms. No fridge. Japanese hot tub on ground floor, for private use. No meals. Nice and polite staff. Family Mart 100 meters from the hotel.

Room Tip: 207 en-suite japanese style, 206 en-suite western style

This small hotel is a gem. Conveniently located within a 20 minute walk from Shibuya crossing, it is run by an English-speaking staff who are only too willing to help make your stay enjoyable. Rooms are simple and very clean. I opted for the Japanese style room which was very aesthetically pleasing. There is a traditional Japanese style private bath on the first floor open every evening. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to solo travelers. I don't think that it would be suitable for families.

Location: A little hard to find if you are not familiar with the area. I relied on my Google Maps a lot during my trip so finding the place was not an issue for me.

Food: Free hot/cold coffee, green tea, and water in the lobby. Tea pot and rice crackers in the room. No breakfast included.

Room: Traditional Japanese room with tatami flooring and floor bed. Room was cleaned every morning and provided clean bath and face towels, etc. They also can provide soft pillows if you're not used to the traditional sand pillows.

Staff: Very helpful! Always greeted us with a warm smile. The staff spoke limited English but was able to answer ALL questions I asked.

Overall, good experience:) I highly recommend this place if you're willing to experience the traditional Japanese room setting.

It was a nice room with both toilet and bathtub, room cleaning everyday and very helpful staff. I would go here again. The hotel is located 10-15 min walk from downtown shibuya. In the lobby you can get free coffe and tea.

Very basic room--tatami floors and floor bedding in traditional Japanese style. Very small bathroom and somewhat cramped for a family but if you intend to use this hotel simply to sleep and bathe and spend most of your time out in Tokyo, then this place is very suitable. Warning: there are no chairs or tables--just a small coffee table. Two large closets available though and a television for Japanese shows. Most important--there is free Wi-Fi that worked excellently. Bus and taxi stops are just in front of hotel but we simply walked the short distance (15 minutes tops), to Shibuya station (Hachiko statue, and famous crossing scramble) and took the train to other parts of Tokyo. Lots of cafes, restaurants, entertainment along the way to the station. We always found some hole in the wall place with incredible food. Hotel staff: reasonably friendly and helpful--most speak good English. There is a vending machine in the lobby that dispenses free coffee and tea (hot and cold), as well as cold and hot water. Also there is a coin operated laundromat just 10 min walk from hotel. Overall, we were happy with our choice and enjoyed getting to know the neighborhood.

Room Tip: Top floor is best---extremely quiet, but no elevator.
