We chose this hotel as it’s close to the station and close enough to the action of Tokyo’s action so for those reasons it was perfect. The room was sufficiently sized for Japanese standards - read: you can barely squeeze 2 adults and luggage in but it’s manageable. We were expecting tight quarters after all this is Japan.
All ammenities in hotel were fine. Breakfast was ok but not very generous with included beverages.
However the service at the front desk was so disheartening. The female attendant barely made eye contact and looked like she’d rather be anywhere else but at work. All interactions seemed forced and perfunctory lacking any heart or enthusiasm. The other clerk was nicer but the failiure to be hospitable in the hospitality industry really put a dampener on our stay.More
