Tokyo is full of Indian restaurants, albeit mostly North Indian restaurants where you get the typical nan and curry. I was happy to find this Indian restaurant as it has really nice South Indian Thali. Instead of nan, there was kind of bhatura and the curries though not close to the ones you get in southern India, were still pretty good. I went during lunch time so could not taste dosa. Next time I will visit in the evening to eat dosa, vada etc. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends!

One of the better South Indian food in the area but below average customer service. Simple order such as plain Rava Dosa takes 20 mins and the waiter was rude and simply not interested in customer service.

Expect good food if you are have time on had with poor customer service.

The owner is a salwar suit wearing Japanese lady. I arrived late at this restaurant and was accommodated. They have versions of the thali. I chose the simpler vegetarian one. Cook must be south Indian as the sambar tasted authentic. The service was great and the owner was pretty friendly. It was surprising that Ginza had quite a few south Indian food restaurants.

In fact this is the only south indian I found in Tokyo. There could be others but I have not come across in my list of around 25 Indian restaurants there. The chefs seem to be from Chettinadu or Madurai. Their set meals are the best in Tokyo if you are craving for authentic south Indian food. They have variety of Indian menu items that I have not seen anywhere else in Tokyo. They have most of the south indian varieties from idli to dosa to what not. Cocunut chutney tastes superb here. I have tasted Urud vada with cocunut and mint chutney here and visited this restaurant repeatedly just for having them again and it always tasted superb. You would never get disappointed with the food and hospitality here

Had gone here for lunch and had the set A. Some items are excellent, such as the starters and some of the curries, but the sambar and rasam were a disappointment as were too spicy and not authentic. Cooks are south Indian and from that perspective, food is good. Spice level is on the higher side and might be worth mentioning if it is more than your level.
