My husband and I stayed here for four nights on our recent trip to Japan. This is an excellent hotel! Our room on the 20th floor had floor to ceiling windows looking out toward the Rainbow Bridge and Odaiba - awesome view! You can even enjoy the view from the bathroom since there's a window you can turn from opaque to clear in the shower. The room, while small, made excellent use of space. Items such as hot water pot (with coffee and filters provided), ice bucket, glasses, etc. were on shelves on the wall, so as not to use up space. On the bedside table, there's an IPad-like tablet that controls the air conditioning and lights - very high tech! There's a handy mini fridge. A "Handy" (brand name) smart phone is provided, allowing unlimited data, so useful for navigating around the city.

The whole hotel has an upscale feel, with modern furniture, subdued colors, etc. The lobby has plenty of sofas and chairs where you can sit and enjoy the outstanding view of Tokyo Tower, We even saw Mt. Fuji one day. We didn't eat in the restaurant, as the breakfast buffet is pretty pricey. We ate breakfast twice at a Denny's about a block away which features both Japanese and Western entrees at very reasonable prices.

The location is only a short walk from Shimbashi Station, which is where the monorail to Odaiba leaves from (recommended). It's also across the street from a large Don Quixote store, great place to pick up your Kit Kats and other souvenirs. For you shoppers, the world's largest Uniqlo is nearby, and I discovered GU - nicely priced clothing similar to H&M (bought two pairs of shoes as wearable souvenirs!).

The entrance to the hotel is, somewhat oddly, a sliding black door on the ground floor. Then you go up the elevator to the lobby on the 16th floor, with rooms above that. While the hotel is in a busy area, our room was totally quiet and we slept well.

By the way, if you're a baseball fan, do as we did and take in a game at the Tokyo Dome - we watched the Giants play the Dragons, and it was one of the highlights of our trip, and a great way to experience some local flavor.

Highly recommend the Mitsui Garden Hotel!

This has been our second stay and this time it was for 4 days. It has an upmarket feel, as it should, and the staff are the epitome of Japanese service. Our room was not large but certainly acceptable and I love the floor to ceiling window. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was vey good.

We didn't eat there. For breakfast the Lawsons Natural by the ground entry has nice food off the shelf and a seated area and is a fraction of the in-house cost. As usual in Japan the nearby choice of eating places is huge, and the Shimbashi rail and subway station is a few minutes walk away.

My biggest complaint is the lack of a bedside light on one side and a lesser one is the hard to read numbers in the elevators . But if you want to go shopping in Ginza it's a good place to stay.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Arriving from Narita the airport limousine bus stops in front of the hotel. It runs about every hour, an option would be to take the Narita express and a short cabride to the hotel. Rooms are japanese size but everything is fine and clean, good beds, all the ammenities you could want, perfect airconditioning and a fantastic view. Hotel is situated between Ginza and Shinbashi station, loads of restaurants to choose from. Both the Ginza and Shinbashi stations are closeby which gives you easy access to the whole of Tokyo, very convenient. The lobby is on Floor 15 the rooms go to the 24th. Thus it is really quiet in your room, I slept really wel. If you want to stay in a perfect location, have a good nights sleep, helpfull staff and a nice clean room with a view, this is the place te be.

This hotel is located close to many restaurants and shops, in particular to Ginza Six Mall, where You can find all lot of shops and restaurant and a terrace with garden, which is really nice.
Booked room was really clean, but extremely small, even if in Tokyo space is always limited. But the is a very nice bar and restaurant with city view. No other services available, i.e. spa, gym etc.

Room Tip: Restaurant city view

The title says it all... If I was on business, this would be a lovely hotel but I was with my family and hence, the size of the room mattered even though we had two beds.

Hotel is located on the quieter part of Ginza and within 5 mins, you will be in the main shopping area. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

We booked here for one night before leaving Japan so it served its purpose. Decently priced hotel.
