This my second time staying in this hotel. The key attraction of this hotel is their beautiful Japanese garden with ponds, waterfall and several restaurants located within the garden. At night, it is beautifully illuminated. Strolling in the garden is a must do.
Breakfast is a available with the room. You have choices of international or Japanese. The revolving restaurant at the tower block offers good view of Tokyo and on a good weather, you may also see Mount Fuji. The Garden Court and Nadaman Japanese restaurant offer view to the garden.
The hotel is also within 5-8 mins walking distance to Akasaka Mitsuke subway station which is approx 5 station of less from Ginza, Harajuku, Omestando, Shinjuku and Shibuya. The route is not sheltered though. There are many affordable restaurants in Akasaka.
My recent stay is the standard triple room at the garden tower. The decor and facilities are a bit dated but it is a good size room for three. If you book the room directly from the hotel, do cater for 10% service charge, 8.8% consumption tax and ¥300 accommodation tax. This works out approximately additional 19.6% of the room price.More
