I had a one bedroom corner suite on a high floor. The views were amazing! The service was great from the minute I checked in to the minute I left. The room was very modern and included everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel.

room was spacious by Tokyo standards and well appointed. close to subway station. Overall very comfortable, just not special. That said, I would stay here again. Kind of a boring neighborhood, but not too far from Roppongi or the Ginza.

The hotel has a great view of the National Diet (legislature building) and the Prime Minister's house, it is located in a safe neighborhood. There is a shrine next to the hotel and a mere 5-minute walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel is also a subway stop, makes it convenient for airport transfers.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed by a famed Japanese architect. The minimalist design is elegant and soothing. They have a phalanx of staff to assist with your needs. The lobby receptionist was exemplary, she gave us directions even walked with us to the street, and pointed us in the right direction. . . WOW! I was forewarned about the great customer service in Japan but was so impressed by the efficient and unobtrusive service given by the hotel staff. The rooms were so squeaky clean. During our 4 day stay not once did we see the housekeeper nor the housekeeping cart, at the end of the day our room is so clean! My husband loved the multi-lane pool, he is a serious swimmer and this hotel takes that seriously! The bar made good cocktails, didn't experience the smoky air I've read in other reviews. I did ask the bartender to put us far away from the smokers. The Origami pastry shop had a great selection, the 7Eleven in the lower level was so convenient. Overall this is an excellent hotel and will be our go to place when in Tokyo.

Room Tip: Get a room on the club floor if possible.

The hotel is beautiful and modern with impeccably gracious service. Our family of 4 stayed e nights in adjoining rooms that were very large and very comfortable. All furniture fittings and bath looked brand new and of the highest quality. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. We loved visiting the beautiful shrine immediately adjacent to the hotel and it was very well located for our excursions (there’s even a metro/stop entrance directly on the lower level). My only note is that families with younger children might find the quiet elegance of the hotel a bit “too quiet.” And might be better suited elsewhere.

Our welcome at the Capitol Hotel was a great one. One of the staff members showed us our room and explained everything we needed. The Concierge was able to assist me with all the information I need and book appointments and dinner reservations when required. The room was super clean and rather spacious. The only strange thing I didn't like was that I had to pay around $30 to use the pool/spa facilities, after spending so much for a 5 star hotel, I find it silly for charging extra to use those facilities. Otherwise highly recommend this hotel, especially for business or first time visits to Tokyo.

Room Tip: Most rooms in this hotel are good, just ensure you ask for non smoking if you don't smoke and away from the elevator.
