A small hotel, I didn't expect rooms to be spacious enough for 3 adults & 1 toddler. I like the bathroom, though it would be better if it has a bidet. They have a buffet breakfast with only a few choices but still you will have a full stomach.

Complains I have is that the key card doesn't work , we have to go down the f.o to complain & they gave us a manual key. The cylinder where you insert the key is buried on the door, it's hard to insert the key; and, when we were finally inside the room, no extra bed was placed. Good thing though, they were fast in setting up the extra bed. These complaints are minimal, management can easily address them though it would be a lot better if there were none 'cause when we get to our room, what is in mind is to rest already.

Overall, we had a good stay.

we were at 6th floor and you can hear the noise from the bar at 7th floor. and the noise from the carnival where our room was facing was so loud. i ended up sleeping around 1 am when the noise started to slow down. the next night there was no noise from the 7th floor but there was a singing contest at the square where our room was facing, the noise was loud it feels like they are singing right next in to your ear. i can still remember after the competition they played a game called "bring me", the host asked to bring someone who previously got involved in a motor accident :), it was funny but my wife and i ended up sleeping really late and we had an early flight to manila on the next day. so no good rest for us. we asked to transfer to another room but was told the rooms available are facing the noisy area.
the internet speed was really bad, it's the same as not having any internet access at all. so if you are a traveler who relied on wifi connection like us this hotel is not for you. i asked the staff about their internet speed and they said they had problems with it. we stayed for 2 nights and the problem was not resolved even upon check out.
breakfast food was alright.
staff are courteous.
they have laundry service that is not expensive only 30 pesos per kilo.

Room Tip: make sure you booked a room not facing the area where events are frequently held.

Do not stay here if you want to rest and get a good night’s sleep. The bar on the 7th floor has very loud music. The windows on our 5th floor room rattled and vibrated along with the bass of the music. The other night the music was so loud until 2AM. This hotel values more the bar guests than their hotel guests, I guess.

Made a reservation through their HOTEL WEBSITE but that does not work. No feedback. Tried to reserve through email, someone replied, gave our dates and details and they said it was NOTED. But hey, when we checked in they couldn’t find my reservation!

If you bring your car, take note that they value more the hotel Van and probably the employees vehicle as well, priority is they park first then the guest! They just let the guest park across the street near the City Hall which area looks deserted at night. For guests like us who is not from and not familiar with Tagbilaran, letting us park across the street makes us anxious because we do not know how safe the area is. Of course the hotel is not liable if anything happens to our vehicle, it is not within their vicinity! Why not park the hotel van there if you are confident enough with the safety of the area?

Employees are mostly nice. Breakfast is okay. Our room was nice.

Will not be recommending this hotel to friends & family. Will not be staying here in the future. Not worth your money. Stay somewhere else!

Good day Ms MariaJLa!

Please be rest assured your noise complaints are a thing of the past. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience bought about by the ending festivities from the last weekend of Sandugo on the lot across the hotel, something we have talked to the organizers and local authorities about.

As for the bar on the 7th floor, Sky7, we are ensuring that noise levels are down to an acceptable level especially by 10pm, especially the reduction of the bass to give our guests a good night's sleep.

We also apologize about the limited parking, as the size of the hotel can only accommodate a few vehicles on a first come, first serve basis. The parking slot allocated for the hotel van serves its purpose to make the shuttling of guests in and out of the hotel as conveniently and as immediately as possible, especially in the event of medical emergencies.

We are truly appreciative of your comments and acknowledge there are things we could do better. We are very thankful to find our rooms and our staff commendable.

We do hope you reconsider and come visit KEW Hotel soon, hopefully with some family and friends.

Have a wonderful week ahead!

Warm Regards,
Drew

The hotel is situated in front of a square frequently used for concerts and fairs. The noise is so loud in the hotel room it’s as if you are at the concert. One of the worst night’s stay I’ve had. Staff is useless and can’t do anything except apologize. Guests should be advised during booking about possible noise so that they can opt to look for another hotel!

Good day, Ginger!

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by the noise of the celebration of Sandugo, our province’s month-long festival.

The lot situated across the hotel is not usually used for events and has been tapped for the first time to celebrate the annual event. We have coordinated on multiple occasions with the organisers as well as local authorities regarding this matter.

Please be rest assured noise levels are minimised past 10:00pm. We thank you for your business and hope to host you again soon.

Have a wonderful week ahead!
