After long drive plagued with traffic and incidents it was with great relief to be greeted with a very warm welcome from Carol the owner of Greenbanks and what a welcome it was!! A card and a bottle of bubbly for my girlfriends birthday and even a chocolate easter bunny. Lovely and thank you.
I wish the weather had been as nice but storm Katie came rolling in and kept us off the balcony over looking the gardens and fields beyond.
The rooms were immaculate and tastefully appointed with everything you could need including a great selection of DVDS should we had let Katie keep us in.
Carol had brough us fresh eggs from her hens and milk and tea and coffee so we could make a cuppa to chill out with after our drive down.
There was plenty of advice in the welcome guide from the best restaurants and takeaways to walks and places to visit in the area.
We had a lovely visit and thank you for making my girlfriends stay so welcome..
Just back from a 2 night getaway - had a great time - accommodation very comfortable and immaculately presented - eggs milk tea and coffee .... Oh and a bottle of bubbly all here on our arrival ! Will definitely be back !
A fantastic apartment; warm, homely and close to everything we wanted to do. Carol was a lovely and friendly host and we would recommend anyone visiting the new forest stays here. We will happily return in the future. We honestly could not think of one negative about this accommodation, it was 100% spot on.
We were greeted by a very welcoming Carol who made us both feel extremely comfortable when giving us the guided tour of the hotel property.
The accommodation is spot on with everything we needed, very clean and have no issues at all with any aspect.
The bed was a tad small, but they cant help im a big guy but in the grand scheme of things its a minor gripe.
There is a pub nearby but its very pricey, something I found out after we had sat down and began to order. The food was great but I wouldn't rely on this as your evening meals.
It was very easy to get out and about around the surrounding area and into the new forest, Greenbanks is very well located for this.
I can give it a much better rating than I would stay there again and will hope to do so in the near future, this time with the newest addition to our family.
