Generally this is a good value hotel. Firstly, the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful; always willing to assist. The room I was allocated was small but as I travelled solo, and had a double room, this was not such an issue. Luckily there is efficient air conditioning which is not always included in a hotel of this class. The bed was comfortable although sleeping was sometimes disrupted by noise problems from other guests - not the hotel's fault but noise does seem to easily transmit through the building. Perhaps I was unlucky.
Housekeeping was a little sporadic and below average, and is definitely an area the hotel could improve on. Also, breakfast was quite limited: an orange juice, one tea or coffee, one croissant or toasted baguette with a topping. For me it's enough to get the day started but no more.
Location of the hotel is excellent. It's near the train and tram stations and bus stops. The airport but stops only a few minutes away. A large supermarket is quite close and all of Alicante's main attractions are within easy walking distance.
Would I go back to this hotel? Definately, but it's probably more suited to a few nights rather than longer stays. At this price point I thought it was very good value.
