“Wow! Superb cottage and location.”
Reviewed 25 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We arrived after a long drive and no sleep for over 36 hrs and expected to just find the bed and sleep, but the cottage was so clean, homely and beautiful that it instantly rejuvenated us. We settled in and took the dogs for a well deserved walk popping in the local for a pint before returning. The kitchen is very well equipped and a joy to cook in. All the info you could possible think of is supplied in the welcome book and plenty of leaflets for things to do. Comfortable beds and a surprisingly relaxing bath. Really felt like home from home, not a holiday let. There was a fire prepped when we arrived but we did not need to light it. One evening it was a little chilly but warmed up by just having the heating on for half hour. The village is also a great location, with a lovely cafe and a friendly pub both within a minutes walk. There is some fabulous walks from the cottage should you not wish to drive but also a great base for many of the beautiful walks, waterfalls and attractions of the Dales. Would highly recommend..

“Wonderful stay!”
Reviewed 11 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

I stayed for a week with 3 friends at the beginning of April. It was a wonderful cottage with a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. I was pleased to find a whole box filled with leaflets on what was available in the local area. I would definitely go again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

“Cherry Bank - the perfect base in the Yorkshire Dales”

Cherry Bank is the perfect base in the Yorkshire Dales. We really loved the cottage and Bainbridge itself. Very close for our many walks, directly from the cottage as well as a short drive to some stunning scenery. The cottage is well laid out, warm, vg bedding and furniture. The local town of Hawes is a delight to visit especially on Tuesday's Market Day. Plenty of good 1-off shops and coffee shops & pubs. The local 'Fish and Chip' van visits by the green every Wednesday 5-6pm, excellent for a very good supper after a hard day out walking! Would recommend this cottage for a family of 4 or friends.

“So much care and attention put in to make sure you enjoy your stay”

From the detailed information pack about everything you could think of wanting/needing to know, the books, magazines, games, well equipped kitchen and utensils, wifi, comfy beds, great heating system, log fire (we were glad of these as it got quite cold later on in the day), down to the tea towel and washing up liquid ... they've thought of everything. The cottage was bigger than the photographs led you to believe, one person kitchen though. The location of the cottage and the village itself was ideal for us, disappointed with the pub so we went further afield for our evening meals after the first night, loads of great eateries in Hawes which is just 4 miles up the road. All in all, a great place to stay, I picked a good un!!

“Peaceful Break”
Reviewed 18 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

The cottage is based in a lovely open village which was very picturesque and based around a green. It is different to other villages in the dales where the houses are lined along the road.

The property itself had everything we required and was well equipped. It was spacious, nicely decorated and the bed was very comfy.

It is in a great location to explore the Dales and I would highly recommend staying here.
