We celebrated here our nephew's weding and it was marvellous.
The views in the terraces are incredible.
The waiters and the managament were excellent.
The food was very good, all of the different dishes were tasty and nicely prepared.

The hotel is situated in a very quiet place . No restaurant in a 4 km, no place of interest nearby. The beach is 15 minutes by car.
The building is nice . Good lunch and breakfast.
They have an indoor pool , but children are not allowed at all !
The pool was empty and we asked for 20 minutes to be allowed for our 6 years old daughter to swim at least 10 minutes as it was the main reason we booked this hotel.
The manager refused us .
She just was telling that kids are not allowed in this hotel to use a pool!

They have a small pool for children with the depth 20 cm which is absolutely useless for any children.
So keep away from this hotel if you are traveling with kids .
Never come back and don’t recommend anybody.

Dear irmos,
We regret that we did not satisfy your expectations due to the reasons that you explain in your review, but with all my respect I told you we can not agree with your comments.
At first, I would like to remind you that the hotel has an excellent restaurant open from until 11:30 p.m.
In the village there is another good restaurant 1 km from the hotel.
4 km from the hotel there is an area with many famous restaurants.
The hotel Palacio de la Magdalena is located in a privileged area of Asturias.
The nearest beach is only 3 km from the hotel, it is possible to walk to the beach. 4 km away there are 3 beaches, and 7 km there are 3 other beaches
In the palace we love children and we are always happy that they come; on the terrace we have a playground with swings and slides.
In the spa there is a children's pool for children under 10 years of age, its depth is 45 cm, it is perfect as a children's pool for its safety.
By norms of the establishment children are not allowed to bathe in the adults' pool, but in your case, as at that time there was no adult bathing, we allowed your daughter to enter the pool until the moment that some adults arrived .
I would like you to understand that small children can not be allowed to bathe in the adults' pool, children have a pool to enjoy
I repeat once more that in the Palacio de la Magdalena we really like that our clients come with their children, and we try to make them feel happy.
We like to express our sincere apologizes if you did not feel it this way.
Best regards

Magnificent hotel a few minutes from the airport in a small town that has absolutely nothing but a Tapas bar on edge of town. The rooms, the facilities - 90 minutes free use of spa, the lounges - exceptional. Restaurant a la carte menu seemed expensive and the menu del dia (limited to only two options per course) at €15 seemed ridiculously cheap. Both menus were very limited for those wanting gluten free that wasn't seafood.

A very cosy palace style interieur and nice rooms. The reception was very friendly and supportive. The rooms are big and have all comfort. The TV has a very small screen and I could not find any international programs! I can recommend the bar (beer and tapas!) and restaurant where we were very well served!

Great long week end in Palacio de la Magdalena: an historic old building transformed into a modern hotel with a spa. Nice staff, quiet hotel and quiet room (even if there was a wedding organised in the hotel on the day that we arrived: we did not hear anything), quite large room, excellent breakfast proposition, free outside parking, a spa (we have not tried it but it looked nice), and a restaurant (we have not tried but looked suitable for leisure and for business purposes). In addition the hotel has great view on the surroundings (it is on the top of a hill). A car is advisable to go to the beach (40 min. walk along a small road with some traffic) and to visit the typical villages around. Airport is located at a few kilometres: 15 min. and 15-20 EUR by cab.
