Nice little family run hotel. Clean room with comfortable bed and strange pillows. The view from the balcony was stunning. The room was hot with no aircon but a fan was provided which helped overnight when it cooled down. We stayed for 2 nights and were well satisfied. The hike up the hill to the car park was daunting for us old fogies to say the least! Young and fit would probably take it on without problem.

Charming little hotel in beautiful mountain village of Casres. Views from little balcony were stunning. Good size room, large bathroom, comfy bed. Steep hill to reach it. Lady that runs it speaks no English (which is fine), so transalatotr progarmme was useful. Wi fi worked one side of room, but not other, but you are literally up a mountain so not really a problem. Nice crusty baguettes for breakfast with drinks , but too late at 9-11am, - Some days we wanted to go out early. . Having said that if you want a true Spanish experience in a stunning loaction this is for you. A car really is a must if you want to see beaches & larger towns. We would def. return here.

Room Tip: Take water to room as bar is closed in evenings & quite a walk for refreshments.

This is the only hotel in town. Therefore if you want to be in this small village so that you can go in the evening to have dinner and walk around you have no choice. It s reasonable. Views from the rooms are excellent. All the way to the sea. Breafast (included) is good. Two good pieces of Casares bread that is more than enough with a expresso (spanish style). If everything, room + breakfast cost 50 euros (October 2016), you cannot ask for more. You can find some details that need to be repaired in the batromm, maybe, minro details. Certainly the owner, a lady fully dedicated to the business, must prefer to keep prices low. But the hotel has a great quality/price ratio. Absolutetally recommended. It offers the possibility to know a great area in Southern Spain

Small inn in the middle of the town of Casares in Andalusia. Neat little town, but not much to do. As marked by a sign next to the entrance, it is a two star hotel. It could be a three-star, because the rooms are nice. Some even have little balconies. However the shower was out of control. Jumping from ice cold immediately to scolding hot with changes in pressure capable of cornering you while hosing you down with hot (or icy) water. The stream easily gets through the flimsy curtain and the water ends up on the floor with no way to escape. The inn keeper could have been a bit more generous with free "breakfast". Let's just say one would want to know that it means dry bread and coffee / orange juice, especially before a long bike trip, or some thing strenuous like that. It's better to know ahead and bring your own food.

Room Tip: Don't count on wifi working in your room

We were travelling around Spain we just turned up in the evening- its a beautiful village well worth a visit, and there are loads of vultures ! fascinating, lots of people hike around the area- beware you do really need flat shoes in town its very steep !
Hotel Rural is really sweet, the rooms are a good size with everything you need, the view from the tiny balcony is spectacular. Breakfast was toast and tea/coffee but lots of it. The only downside to this charming little hotel is..everything is a bit "thin" the walls are thin...I could hear my sister snoring next door,( mind you she is loud !) the towesl and the sheets are a bit see through as well !! , shame because that is the only negative. Apart from that its a great little hotel and at 50 euro per room a really nice short stay.

Room Tip: Anyone that has a balcony !
