Our first time in the Cooks and Little Polynesian was superb.. The friendliest people, fabulous food, accommodations absolutely tops. Cannot praise this beautiful resort too highly. Relaxed atmosphere and everything works as it should.

Adults only, so quieter, less splashing in the pool, etc. was upgraded To the beachside are as the garden are has been damaged by floods a couple of weeks earlier. When we had to move to the garden are on the last night we were disappointed. Unfort7nately has problem with crawling inspects that last night only. For that reason, I can’t give it 5 stars.

We stayed in a “garden” villa. Unfortunately, there is really no garden around and it is actually road side rather than garden. It didn’t help that major road works were happening just outside our outdoor shower (which is not connected to the bathroom btw).
Maybe as a result of the works, our villa was infested by worms coming out at night... Not really up to the standard expected paying nearly $500 a night.
We stayed at Aitutaki lagoon resort prior to The Little Polynesian and the standard difference between the 2 is remarkable.
The hotel area, beach, reception and restaurant are however absolutely lovely and the view is to die for.
Particular mention to the Staff: each and everyone was absolutely amazing, a real pleasure to deal with.
Hotel Management should consider converting the “garden villas” into a spa.

We had been planning this get away for 10 years. This resort could not have done more for us during our amazing stay. The location & facilities were first class. The staff were more than amazing, loving.
