We two families stayed at Deshadan on 8th and 9th sep. This resort is situated on the toppest clif of munnar/kerala. Great place to stay. Stay in a cottage which has two rooms and are very spacious.thw only trouble is to travelthe last 1 km. Pretty steep but once you reach the hotel you feel good

The staff is very cordial. One of the day our car brook down exactly 2 km from the resort at 8.00 pm which is considered pretty dark. The hotel staff were quick enough to send us a car in 5 mins.

I would recommend this place for sure.....

I stayed at the Deshadan mountain resort for just 2 nights, but had a great time! The view from the room is amazing - very possibly the best view (from a hotel room) around!

The food was great, best curries I have had so far. Plenty of staff to help you around. Trekking is available with a guide from the staff, as well as a early morning jeep ride to an amazing sunrise.

10/10 can recommend!

we went during october time frame where its more of cloudy kind of stuff. During our stay we used to see some clouds passing by and had wonderful experience. Food was ok and there are some indoor games are there to enjoy. Rooms was good and service was great. On an overall great place to stay and reset your city life

The view was good but the room quality and arrangements are not like a hotel. Rooms are damp. Vally view what we booked but the rooms are so damp that we shifted to Mountain view. Cost wise valley view is more costly but it is not maintained one ,also the bed size is too small that you cannot fit along with your kid. Food is OK type not so great.

Room tip: Valley rooms are too damp .

I am doubtful there is any other resort so high and in awesome location in munnar. Valley view rooms are the best place to stay. Superb view.

Food at the restaurant is very tasty, glad to find both North and South Indian dishes cooked so well in munnar.

I am sure I will stay only here next time I'm in munnar.

For the hotel management : please keep a kettle and mineral water in rooms.
