Spent two nights in this delightful first floor studio with wonderful country views over rolling hills. Small but useful downstairs kitchen and a shower room and toilet.
Walking distance to two pubs, fish & chips, very good Indian restaurant and a bakery.
The only noise we heard were sheep bleating in the next field.Really unwound and will return.
A place with its own quirky character. We did not see the place at its best, ie in the middle of winter after and during lots of heavy rain! The local lanes were waterlogged and muddy - in other seasons they will be beautiful. Overall, a snug bolthole for us in wearying weather. And Treetops looks a great summer stay for young families. We had trouble with the shower but, amazingly, Sam found an engineer to fix it on Christmas Eve. So full marks to Sam.
We celebrated the new year 2018 in the treetop house . The owner was very lovely and friendly lady.we had a great time there with our 2 kids 6 and 10 years old . Perfect place. Thank you.
What a find !!!! Treetops is perfect for those that are looking to escape the usual hustle and bustle of hotels and b&bs. We booked it with the intention on using it as a base to visit friends and family in the Eastbourne & Brighton area, both are easily accessible by car which is essential as it is located just outside of the local village ( 10 minute walk down a country Lane ) although public transport is avalible to get to the bigger towns. It is ideally located for visits to Rye, Hastings, Eastbourne, Lewes, Seaford,Brighton and beyond. The property has everything that you need and has fantastic views from the skylight windows. Sam the owner is a wonderful host and just lets you get on with it. We had a great evening with her and her daughter talking and laughing and look forward to our next stay in the summer.
For those looking for cosy accommodation with the essentials and to escape then this is ideal,
Thanks Sam, see you in the summer
