We stayed here just for one night. Good hotel with bungalow rooms. There are some rooms in main building, where you have neighbors on the both sides of the room and garden (parking view), and separate bungalows which are bigger and have little bit more privacy. Neither of them actually have ocean view except may be for one house where it’s seem possible to see ocean from the first floor.
Our bungalow was quite spacious but was facing the path to restaurant so people come close to the window at dinner and breakfast time. Otherwise it was ok. No complimentary water. Toiletries in dispensers, good quality. Hairdryer attached-to-the-wall style, one that functions only when you keep pressing the button, not very powerful, takes a lot time to dry long hair.
Breakfast was satisfactory: scrambled eggs, sausages, tomatoes, ham and cheese, sliced pizzas, some bread and pastries, fruits (watermelon, melon), cereals, yougurt and milk. Average coffee. Restaurant has direct ocean view. For a dinner better choose other nearby restaurants. We had a dinner at Haka Honu and wasn’t dissapointed.

When searching for a hotel with air conditioning on the island, the Taha Tai looked well priced compared to others. We just spent two nights here and loved the spacious bungalow and really appreciated the air conditioning as the humidity is quite stifling. The bed was comfy, the room was very clean and there was plenty of room for our massive luggage. The WiFi worked well in the room as well as the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant was excellent. We don’t normally eat at our hotel, but we ate here twice. The restaurant has nice seating looking out at the ocean and the ocean breeze was perfect for staying cool. We tried the ceviches as well as an octopus appetizer that were all excellent. The hotel provides airport transportation, two welcome drinks and a hot buffet included in the rate. The staff at the front desk and at the restaurant were wonderful. We booked a full day tour through them when we checked in and we were able to charge it to our room. Most shocking was the prices for tours here were less than half of those we looked at online before arriving. We had a fantastic local guide with only one other couple in our van. We were so glad we didn’t waste money booking a tour ahead! Overall a very nice place to stay with a great location.

This hotel is very central , near to the airport, just across the road from the sea and with easy access to the towns Main Street
The room was clean and comfortable. With a nice shower and a safe, my room faced the pool and the well maintained gardens. The breakfast was a bit ordinary, with a limited buffet.
We had dinner there which was good value for money. The staff were helpful .there are no fridges in the room but there is a fridge in reception where you can leave food and drink. The hotel arranged pick up and drop off at the airport.

Spent 4 nights at the hotel. In a good location close to the airport and restaurants. Free airport shuttle. Breakfast at the hotel had a lot of variety and the food was tasty. Also had ceviche for dinner one evening which was good.
Property has lots of parking if you rent a vehicle and there is a small pool. Very refreshing after a day of sight seeing, but it isn't heated.

The room was basic but comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The staff reminded me of the local time constantly as I got it wrong all the time, and accommodated all my special requests. I enjoyed the nice breakfast with a beautiful view every morning. One of the famous moai attraction is within walking distance.
