It took me an hour, to walk here, from El Cotillo. Fantastic, deserted lagoons, on the way. There is a café, and toilets, and a museum of a history of fishing, on Fuerteventura. It costs 3 euros. The lady will give you a booklet, in English, so you can understand the exhibits. They are labelled in Spanish. I found it very interesting, and life must have been extremely hard, in the past. There are outside seating areas, behind glass, as the wind blows, very strongly here. There were kite surfers on the lagoon, next door, and I was told, that this is the nudist beach. Although, anything goes, on most beaches. There is also a walk, which takes in the system of collecting water, in the water cisterns.

We drove to this location and on arrival parked up and walked around.
Location is fantastic with wonderful views, but unfortunately the day we went it was closed so we couldn't enter but it was definitely worth going to the location.

The "mini" tour of the lighthouse and museum is well worth a visit and is full of really interesting facts and information about the area and the island, good value with great coffee etc served with a smile.

The outside seating provides a fantastic panoramic view of the Islands north shore.
