The food here is well presented and quality products supplied in each dish. The various meats available will delight your taste buds and eyes. there is an extensive menu with something to please all tastes, meat, fish, ( the pork is to die for ). The staff are very helpful and pleased to help with any request. My wife and i have been here on many occasions over the last two years and have never been disappointed, its not the cheapest place to eat but its a special place and worth the cost. I agree with another reviewer Brian G, Its the best place around the Pilar area for their great menu and very good value.

I live here and can safely say that regardless of all the reviews that people write on here about the restaraunts in and around Pilar, this is the only one we ever recommend to anyone.

This review isnt about the food or the service which is always great, it´s to give you some tips otherwise you miss out on the best the place has to offer.

The menues at the back, red pepper, hite pepper etc are by far the best value and you can get an amazing 6 or 7 course meal for only 20-25€ with a range of starters, main, coffee, desserts, drinks and bread throughout. If you want to experience different things this is the way to go.

They wont thank me for this but the house wine is just as good as the more expensive bottles and unless you are going top end or really know your stuff you wont notice the difference from the mid range wines as the flavour in the food is so good you wont want to kill it with strong wine.

If you are going al a carte then the Brochetta quatro carne is the way to go and at 14€ is a meat feast on a plate.

Many friends often say you get better steaks at other places but this just is not true as they are normally the ones who order the angus on a stone and then over cook it. If you are gong the stone route then make sure you take into consideration that you´re cooking it and not the chef who is an expert in it. The fillet is also excellent and available on the menues as is the entrecote.

Take your time over lunch or dinner as there is so much you can fill up and not get to the end without feeling stuffed. If you are here in holiday season or on a Spanish holiday make sure you book as you wont get near the place.

Salt and Pepper is by far the best place to eat in the area.

Just visited here this evening with my wife and 1 year old daughter. Blown away!
Although we speak zero spanish, the waiters and waitress helped us every step of the way, including an english menu. The waitress was also extremely lovely to my daughter, and helped make her feel at home in foreign lands! Thank you to her!
The seafood paella was beautifully presented to me and my way, and tasted as it looked; fresh, brilliantly cooked and tasted wonderful. Spanish cuisine encompassed!
Would recommend to any and all visiting the area.
