A road from Kausani chowk uphill will lead you to Anasakti Aashram. Ample of parking space for vehicles. Aashram displays photographs from life of Gandhi Ji. There is a small stall for tea and eatables. From here one can have a view of all the major visible peaks of Himalayas like Trishul, Nanda ghunti etc. Calm and quite atmosphere worth visit once.

It is also known as Gandhi Ashram. Anasakti Ashram was built to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi who visited this place in 1929 and described it as the ‘Switzerland of India’ after falling in love with its pristine beauty. It is here that he wrote his treatise Anasakti (‘detachment’) Yoga. The ashram is well stocked with books and photographs of Gandhi’s life. There is a small prayer room in this ashram where prayers are held every morning and evening.(around 6 kms from Himalaya Darshan resort Kausani)

Must visit place in kausani among the very few places available to visit.
Gandhiji have spent some time over here at ashram. And thus it have a special place in indian history. All related stories and events have been described in ashram through posters and writings.
In addition to about Gandhiji, it has more to offer via naturally beautiful views of himalayan mountains.
From here you can see the view of long himalayan range, giving a feel of very close of your self to them. To enjoy these views one structure also created in ground of ashram on little bit height so that you can enjoy view without any obstruction.
At view point one drawing is made on stone explaining air distance of different himalayan peaks from asharam. See that in photos.
