This lovely restaurant is tucked away in the most picturesque area of Scotland, and serves the most delicious food. I was so impressed that everything was home made - including the tartare sauce. The burger was huge, and very tasty. The kids had a great time. Staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We were disgusted when we stopped off for coffee on our way to Aberfeldy .We have visited the Courtyard at least once a year since it opened but we wont be back until the improve their idea of hygiene !The bar was overrun with dogs whose owners had no concern for the comfort of other customers nor did the staff When we arrived we counted 4 small dogs on leads which although we did not like it they seemed well behaved so we sat down No sooner had our order arrived when two large labradors and another large hairy creature arrived and ran around the bar unchecked by either owners or staff One member of staff was seen petting the dogs I HOPE she washed her hands.Another two large wet smelly dogs appeared obviously having enjoyed a swim in the loch We left at that
Some responsible dog owners were enjoying their coffee at the outdoor seating so why were others not asked to do the same?

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you had a bad experience on your last visit and please do not allow that to stop your regular visits. The restaurant manager recalls the occasion and is very sorry you had to experience it. We unfortunately had an irresponsible dog owner as a customer and upset all our other responsible owners. We are proud to be pet friendly in our bar and al fresco dining area and the restaurant area is pet free. Dogs must be kept on a lead and kept under control as we do appreciate that everyone is not a dog lover. Hygiene is of course paramount to us.
We find that being in such a beautiful area with lovely walks , makes us popular with returning guests passing by and guests staying in our luxury self-catering properties that are pet owners. We are sorry and take on board your comments.

A haddock fillet of great proportions cooked to perfection in a thin batter casing. The fish was fresh in that morning from an East Coast of Scotland port and must have been swimming in the North Sea a couple of days ago.
Chips were chunky and tasted great.
The restaurant is well set out with good fixtures a fittings. The staff were very attentive.

Just a quick coffee, winter warmer! so pleased. Vanilla lattes are sumptuous. Had a nice walk around the village fancied something to eat but just had a great coffee instead as it was quite busy. Delicious.

Lovely restaurant which was warm and cosy on entry, menus handed out and order taken. Coffee and teas served but an age to wait for the food. When I asked the staff they went to the kitchen to check the order and came back with the food. It was excellent, but then the explanation came that all the food is cooked from scratch and made when you order. We had ordered porridge for one and Danish pastries for two. It was a while to wait but had an explanation of taking up to 15-20 minutes been explained it would have saved the anger gathering on the poor service. In the end the food was of a very high standard but maybe check how long it will take to prepare
