“The perfect way to experience Tuscany”
Reviewed 24 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

When you stay at Numero 182, it will become the holiday that you will come to compare all future holidays to. You will say "Well it was nice to cook there, but it was nothing like the kitchen we had at Numero 182" or "Yeah, staying by that mountain was fine, but it was nothing like being perched on the hill at Numero 182 and watching the river catch the setting sun."

Everything from the accommodation down to the outdoor space has been planned to make your holiday simple and enjoyable. The apartment is fully equipped to make for comfortable living. You'll feel as if you walked into your own home. The appliances and decor are modern, but the exposed beams and stained wooden shelves still bring that lovely rustic Italian feel. There are also plenty of spaces to sprawl outside and take in the glorious Tuscan sun or even walk around and enjoy the forest and feel the nature around you. Pescia is only a short ride away and the train station there will take you on lovely day trips to any of the big cities.

Helen and Stuart are also wonderful as hosts, content to provide you with any help but allowing you the freedom to do as you please. As the apartment is separate from the house you have complete privacy and autonomy. Supplied in the apartment are a great array of information, travel pamphlets, tuscan cookbooks and details for local restaurants that will appease the most adventurous travellers. You cannot go wrong booking your holiday at Numero 182, but you best lock it in now before this hidden gem won't stay hidden for long.

“Amazing place to stay”
Reviewed 26 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Loved this apartment,so comfortable, the photographs do not lie, its recently renovated,it's spotless and caters for all your needs.the owners are great, nothing was too much trouble, and for a fee they did airport runs to pick me up and drop me back for my homeward journey also all these extras meant a lot, and also the welcome pack filled with basic things like milk ,tea, coffee, bread was a nice touch. Also a library of books, DVD 's and a good selection of CD's. The garden has furniture, which was lovely to be able to sit there and soak up the amazing views. Basically there was everything you could possibly need for a great stay.

“Perfect little retreat”
Reviewed 14 February 2015 for a stay in January 2015

We visited Numero182 with our 2 year old boy for a week in January. It had been the second time we have visited Italy and once again we were not disappointed. The apartment was beautiful, everything you could possibly want and more. The owners even provided a travel cot so we didn't have to bring one as well as all the other toddler paraphinalia. A blessing. Milk, water, OJ all provided on arrival as we landed too late for a shopping excursion.
We woke the next morning to the most spectacular view across the valley, a view I don't think anyone could get sick of. The week was filled with excursions to local towns and villages all with amazing views, food, wine and walking. Our son was entertained all week with adventures around the terraces and woods, helping with the animals and also eating lovely food all day every day.
The area, views, apartment, owners and the fact it's very reasonably priced makes this a place not to miss. I would book quick to avoid disappointment.

“an amazing rural comfortable retreat”
Reviewed 15 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

This place is a lovely stone farmhouse with fantastic views out onto the valleys. Owned by a fantastic couple who are only happy to help you out with anything from guides around pescia to airport transfers. A hire car is recommended to get around but your only 5 mins from pescia town and the same to a supermarket. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay

“Location, location, location”
Reviewed 13 January 2015 for a stay in October 2014

They say location is key and Numero182 has that and more - brilliantly situated to explore all sides of Tuscany, the rural (hills, valleys and villages), the city hustle and bustle of Pisa, Florence and Lucca and the coast too isn't that far either. And for total relaxation simply sit on terrace and feast your eyes on vista in front of you down the valley and across the hills.

The apartment, beautifully kept, is comfortable, well appointed and has all you need. The owners (Stuart and Helen) are smashing and so welcoming, they have wealth of local knowledge and only too happy to share for hints of where to go, what to see and suggestions for restaurants, shopping etc.

We spent a fabulous week at 182 and will definitely be back. Thank you Stuart and Helen for a wonderful holiday.
