What an absolute pleasure to eat in here. Very reasonable priced food. Gluten free available for coeliac daughter. They were very clued up on coeliac disease. We all had toasties which were delicious. Then cream scones. They even had gf scones. Would highly recommend

Unable to find a parking space at the Glenfinnan Monument, we drove on and saw the signs for the Dining Car. So glad we did, a great welcome, friendly staff and the soup was sublime. So relaxing sitting in the carriage (which I can remember from my youth), with superb views. Free tickets for the Museum was an added bonus, again lovely helpful, informative young man. Will be back to try the home baking.

On our return from a visit to the islands my wife and friend routed us to Glenfinnan to see the Harry Potter train go over the movie viaduct. We were unsure what to expect as it had been reported that this area had gotten very touristy during the summer. We were starving after a great little game of golf and got to the museum and was unsure where to eat... Then there was this dining car! I immediately wanted to give it a try.. we had just seen an episode of the Big Bang Theory about the same. Fortunately, they were able to work us in with only a short wait, which they give us free tickets to the small museum. Perfect. It was really neat having a meal in this old dining car. The food was very good as was the service. Highly recommend for the experience and food.

We stop her for refreshment whilst visiting the area, we had a lovely lunch (homemade coleslaw a must!) in this beautiful converted railway carriage. They also have a little patio area with stunning views. The staff were so friendly and helpful, there was no rush they just wanted you to make the most of your visit even though they were nearly full. After lunch we had a piece of the homemade shortbread again do no leave without trying this!!! If you do not go here you are missing out on a lovely experience and good food. And just to make it e en better if you buy food you get free tickets to the railway museum again a must, you may even get to see the steam train coming though.

Stopped here to do the walk out to the viaduct and was delighted to find this little gem. Delicious coffee, lovely home baked cakes and the setting inside the old train carriage was perfect. Prices are reasonable and the woman serving us was just lovely. Highly recommended
