First time to this lovely little cafe/bistro and we would definately visit again when everything else isn’t in chaos. The breakfast was lovely however slightly on the cold side and the service was fairly hectic but to be expected seeing as half of the town had the same ideas we did in the snowy conditions. Lovely choice on the menu and great Coffee! Pricing was good value for the area and we were delighted to find they had extra seating to the rear we weren’t aware of. I’m sure on any normal day/night this place would’ve been a 5/5 we will be back soon

Thank Chris G

We arrived to find the place very busy. Staff tried hard but the teacakes were cold by the time coffee turned up. Teacakes were actually toast. Hmm don't rely on your reputation. Fudge cake was good.

my starter was too spicy for me, it was taken back with full apology, and free olives arrived.... the main course for both of us could not be faulted, the atmosphere and staff were excellent. ... ALSO, there were some interesting drinks for the designated driver, certainly NOT run of the mill.

My husband chose the plain scone with butter and jam, whilst I selected the cheese scone - which was 'washed' down with a lovely cup of tea. (Beautiful scones) !! Since we'd already eaten a full English Breakfast earlier that morning, we just wanted something light to eat around lunchtime. Excellent meal with very good service. We would definitely recommend The Bakehouse to others visiting Cullompton..
