We were taken out for a lunch by family on a sunny afternoon and had walked past this restaurant on so many occasions always curious what it would be like.
The staff were excellent, family run and oozing warmth making us feel comfortable immediately. We shared a number of entree dishes of typical local cuisine like marinated octopus, cheeses, eggplant, cured meats which were all delicious. The pasta dishes were next and were fantastic, even waiting an extra 15 min because they were freshly prepared was well worth it. I had the penne tricolore which was excellent. Lastly we were gently talked into trying the meat so we shared a huge dish of assorted meats including sausage, grilled chicken, pork, lamb and involtini. I was too full by that stage but made room as it was one of the best meat dishes I've had in a long time.
I think this has become our new local when we're in Capo D'Orlando next.
