We enjoyed a generous and delicious set menu Sunday lunch with plenty of antipasti, primi and secondi, local wine, water and dessert, all for just 30 euros. They kindly made a simple pasta for our two young daughters. We were informed all the produce was local - the black pig featured heavily, in really cured meats and a rich ragu. The local mushroom soup was exceptional and the porcini mushroom carpaccio was divine. Likewise the friend zucchini flowers. The service was friendly and super efficient, they were patient with my very average Italian and a couple of the wait staff happily spoke good English. The restaurant is in the grounds of a lovely agriturismo offering plenty of room to roam after a big lunch - set against a stunning Mt Etna backdrop, with vineyards. And a bonus horse, goat and sheep for the kids to visit.
