“Well-equipped, very clean cottage”

Brook Cottage is really well looked-after and has everything you need. It's in a good location near Kilfenora, which is great for the coast and the Burren. Margaret and PJ were very welcoming when we arrived and waved us off at the end! It's not the cosiest of cottages - tiled or laminate floors throughout - and the living room doesn't get the sun in the evening. Be aware that there's no wifi and mobile reception is limited - we got wifi in Vaughan's pub and mobile reception up the access track. The village shop doesn't sell beer! I suppose that means you have to go to the pub. There's a decent supermarket in Ennistimon.
These quibbles aside, Brook Cottage served us really well and was great value for money, too.

“Home away from home!”
Reviewed 28 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Well maintained and well furnished traditional cottage, sitting in a small valley and just a short drive (or walk) to Kilfenora. We've stayed here every time we visit County Clare and we've never had a problem with anything. The cottage is spotless, bed linens and bath towels are clean and fresh, kitchen has everything you need, laundry room is fully equipped, and the heating system functions very well.

“Lovely house in a peaceful location”
Reviewed 12 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay here. Margaret and PJ are great to deal with and their attention to detail is wonderful. We loved the scones and jam and the fire being set for us on arrival and appreciated all the "extras" e.g. laundry powder, sewing kit, box of games etc. The house was spotlessly clean.....in fact possible the cleanest I have ever stayed in. We found the location excellent for exploring the coast and inland. I would love to return there again.

“Very nice place to relax including wonderful owners”
Reviewed 1 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We can absolutely confirm previous reviews, including fresh milk for the tea on arrival.
Everything was tidy and clean, the kitchen well equipped, only noise you hear is pure nature.
Absolutely wonderful owners that provided us with perfect info (where to go on St. Patrick's Day) and their wisdom, and a family supply of first-class homemade scones (delicious!). Thank you, Margaret and PJ for providing such a nice experience.

The location was perfect for us to explore Clare Region/West Irland.
We found it perfectly situated to do the following by car:
- We made close to all Looped Walks in the Burren Geo Park Region - Cliffs of Moher Coast, Ennistymon, Dromore Wood, Carron Turlough, Burren National Park
- We visited Ennis, Galway, Limerick, Doolin and many more
- We made several beach walks at Lehinch, Spanish Point, Fanore

So we definitely recommend the place, and we would (and might) absolutely go again on day.
