This is a great place to visit. There is a charge - 147 rand per adult - but the views when you arrive are worth it. First thing to note though is that the journey to Cape Point can be an adventure in itself. We encountered baboons on the road who clearly own the area and so you do need to be careful when you are driving.
When you arrive, you have 2 choices - walk up the hill (or take the funicular) to Cape Point or walk down the hill to the Cape of Good Hope (a return walk of 1 and half hours). If you are looking for great pictures, then it doesn’t really matter which you choose. You could certainly do both walks in an afternoon if you were so inclined. I would not recommend wearing open-toed sandals though, you will spend most of your time getting small stones out from under your feet if you do.

If you’re in Cape Town, it’s a must to go to the most southern West Point in Africa.

Potential for long queues going into the National Park.

Restaurant and cafe for food and water.

Table Mountain National Park is superb! Everything about it is beautiful and the Cape of Good Hope is no exception.
We were lucky enough to see some seals basking in the sun on some rocks, we saw a whale breaching, and even some ostrich on our trip to the Cape. It’s a little less busier here than the Cape Point.

We have been there with a well organized tour. The place is very nice but pay attention at the baboons they are quite aggressive if you are holdin food in your hands.

At the tip of Africa. You can walk up the hill for a good view over the ocean. There are some seals around on the rocks.
There is a sign saying cape of good hope that many people were having photos with.
A cool place to come! They have parking here too.
