dinner was a very good buffet using local meats and veggies. Started out with homegrown greekish salad with real heirloom tomatoes .Main entrée was curried lamb and fresh catch mahi mahi served with local vegetables including very sweet onions. Entree was followed by a large selection of made in house deserts I had the homemade chocolate ice cream[mmmm] and the wife had the key lime pie with coconut ice cream, the restaurant had a jungle atmosphere with real humming birds as entertainment.i would return.

Highly recommended to visit for a great dinner. Food was excellent with lots of fresh vegetables and lovely fish. The ambience and service were great and generally the setting very pleasant. Hidden away, a little bit of paradise - make sure you seek it out as you will not be disappointed.

Kariwak was a real bonus find. We stopped here for ice creams one day and had a delightful walk around the garden. We came back for lunch and were so pleased that we did. The welcome was warm and genuine. The setting was perfect. The meal was excellent. A great end to our Tobago. Thank you Kariwak

My wife and I visited Kariwak Village Restaurant for dinner. We had booked ahead. We were greeted by very friendly staff who showed us to our table, in one of the “huts”. Effectively tables under a palm leaf roofed gazebo which was a nice touch. There was a set menu. The first corse was a delicately seasoned pumpkin soup followed by a small very fresh said. There was a choice of three or four mains. We both chose the shrimps. This was to be served with rice, Bok Choy and cauliflower. My wife cannot eat gluten or rice and with no fuss the rice was substituted by roast potatoes. The dish was nicely spiced and a small pot of hot chilli sauce was on the table. To finish we had the homemade ice cream. Must mention the rum punch. Very good !
All in all a very nice dinner with excellent staff. We hope to visit again before the end of the holiday.
