Stayed for one night, as we were playing live music at the Real Ale Classroom around the corner, and they had paid for the accommodation. What a brilliant hotel the Greyhound is...all the other good reviews have nailed the best attributes...exceptional courtesy and friendliness from all the staff, smashing breakfast, freshly made to order, delightful courtyard with plants, sculpture and quirky old machinery and lots of seats for a sit in the sun, and our room, No5, was spacious, well equipped, really comfy bed and pillows, spotless bathroom...and genuinely the Greyhound has all the very nicest elements of a night in a hotel. We would love to go back and sample the beers in the bar, as well as the tempting food menu...so that's a definite plan for the future. We loved the place and felt 'at home' from the minute we walked in. That's quite an achievement for any hotel! And hopefully, they might book us to play some live music in the bar...

I stay here occasionally when working in the area. The staff are really helpful and the rooms comfortable. My favourite place is the restaurant where you can get an excellent choice of food. The staff cannot do enough to accommodate my gluten free dining. Thoroughly recommended. Not for those who want a modern hotel without character.

From the moment we walked in to the minute we left we were overwhelmed by how nice the staff were! The dog was most welcomed every where by everyone the courtyard is just lovely the room was really nice the old fashioned Victorian feel was lovely
Highly recommend to friends and family!
Only one down side it doesn't have a car park and you have to use a public car park outside

We stayed for one night to go to a local wedding and the staff were so helpful before we even arrived. Im not local to the area and they were kind enough to let us check in early and send us local taxi numbers. We arrived and were welcomed by the most beautiful little garden area (award winning we then found out!) The welcome was friendly and they gave us all the info we needed regarding check out, breakfast and a late night key.

Our room was so cosy, if you like modern this probs isnt for you but I loved it. Decor felt true to a historical building and bathroom was modern and ultra clean.

Breakfast was great and there was soooo much choice!

Thanks for a great stay, we will most certainly come back if back in the area!

Have just arrived home from a two night stay for best mates wedding. The hotel is situated right on the main high street of Lutterworth.
This does create a small problem with parking ... there is a car park to the rear but tickets which are 4+ hours are £3.20 but run out at 23:59 Monday to Saturday which is a pain as you are needing to be out at your car paying the following day at 7am or as close to otherwise you are trying your luck with the wardens. Annoying but part from that everything else top notch.

Room was fantastic .... nice big bed, room and bathroom. Building must be listed building which results in strange corridors and shaped rooms as well as original beams. It's got plenty of character matched by being very clean and tidy.

Breakfast again brilliant ..... plenty of cold buffet choice, drinks and then a hot breakfast menu which you order. Lovely .... and sorted out the alcohol from the night before.

Overall a great stay ... the greyhound I would recommend.
