B&B Sottocoperta is a great find! My husband and I stayed there for one night in Sep.
We had a room on the ground floor of B&B Sottocoperta that had direct access to the back yard. After our dinner in the old part of the city, we sat out and enjoyed a glass of the local wine on the terrace there. Our room had a very large private bath (just across the hall) and was spacious. The owner is especially accommdating and good at providing recommendations of places to visit in the area. For example he suggested that we explore the medieval castle and village of Il Ricetto di Candelo, which we visited and it was very impressive. Breakfast is not really substantial, but that is fine with us, since we like to try the regional foods in local restaurants and do not need a large breakfast.

Room tip: Ask for a room with direct access to the garden.

Finding accommodation in Biella was hard until we found the sign directing us to the B&B.this is not a tourist twn but a town at centre of Italy's textile and rice growing areas of Piemonte.
We were lucky to get the new room with ensuite. It was an honest clean comfortable place to stay. It was very large , the beds were so comfortable and it was very quiet in a residential area.

We had a large room with an amazing ensuite with one of the best showers. The owner was friendly, spoke English well and it was great value 55 euros.
Eddie sent us up to the Old Town piazza for Dinner where we found Due Cuori , one of the best meals we ate in the 6 weeks in Europe.
We would recommend our room and the casual breakfast.

Room tip: We had the new room with ensuite.
