Enjoyed my lunch with friends here. The setting is great and the staff very prompt. We ordered pork ribs, prawn, appams and some mindblowing cocktails. I loved this place when it was in Hauz Khas in Delhi and I love it here. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The location is off the main drags, tucked in between Anjuna and Mapusa. The front facade is subtle and I almost missed it in the twilight.

It's a beautiful restaurant that has been open for for years. The food was exceptional and the ambiance both thoughtful, welcoming, and welcomed.

We had curry dishes, and they were flavorful and well-balanced. They had character and had been considered.

I could have eaten here five more times to sample all the bits of the menu. As one leaves, there is the thought "why can't all of Goa be so effortlessly enjoyable..."

Gunpowder – an absolute go-to place. What ambience! Having your quiet meals sitting under lush green trees, colourful lanterns and the breeze kissing you every now and then…. Its located on the Anjuna – Mapusa road (not close to any beach per se but the place covers up for everything).

The food is awesome too… We were about 6 of us and hence could try both veg and non-veg varieties. The Appams and one yellow veg curry (coconut milk base – closer to thai curry taste) were amongst my favourite. Also the Andhra prawns masala, Malabar paratha and fish fry were super awesome. Actually everything we ordered was perfect in taste and consistency. A thumbs up to the entire staff for their courtesy, prompt service and also maintaining the property…

PS : It is a wheelchair accessible location (for all my differently abled friends).

All in all a super experience… Highly recommend this place! Every time I visit Goa, I would definitely not miss out Gunpowder…

Mouth watering! Try the andheri king prawns! So many crispy onions to savour and with a paratha and a popper! The perfect lunch with a kingfisher
