It's a spacious apartment in a slightly out of the way location. Great for Pisa and Volterra but other destinations can be a trek. Welcome was a bit vague as we waited outside the gates. Family live in and we tried to respect this (keep the noise down, tidy pool things away etc). Views are great. Struggled for hot water in the kitchen and there are knobs missing on the main cooker, convection microwave was great though. It's quite expensive so the cleaning charge on top is steep. We struggled for 250 Euros in cash as a deposit as well (all our cash!).

Dear Guests,
I spoke to the property owner about you comments on Casa Iris.
She does not really understand what do you mean with a "vague welcome", as her brother was waiting at home to welcome you at your arrival.
She verified the hot water in the kitchen and then it worked perfectly, anyway, also in case, it has not worked during your stay, you should have informed her then, to let her solve it.
As regards the non-working cooker, you omitted to tell: it is specifically marked with a sign on the cooker, and close to it, there is another, perfectly working cooker, you regularly used.
She was also not happy about your behaviour, as you would not to pay the deposit and the cleaning expenses (at the end you paied them, but not in full), despite they were clearly indicated in the description of the apartment. Kind Regards,
Andrea
