We just had one night B&B here on a quick tour of Northern Ireland and it was perfect. and it would have been nice to stay longer. Our two rooms were very clean and comfortable as was the whole house. The breakfast was excellent, both cooked and non-cooked options, and the couple that run it were very friendly and helpful. Thank you. We will stay again because the Strangford Lough area deserves longer than we gave it. The Dufferin Arms in Killyleaugh is a very good pub option for food, drink and conversation.
Otterbank is a very pretty and typical Irish house surrounded by its own gardens with a stream separating these from a paddock . The view from the bedroom was over tranquil countryside. It is very close to the town of Killyleagh which is situated on Srangford Loch where there are a number of interesting shops, pubs and restaurants.
We were given a very warm welcome by the owners who have recently refurbished the house. The room was immaculate with a modern en suite shower room. It was a perfect base from which to tour the surrounding countryside, coast and Belfast. Our only regret was that we didn't stay long enough. We highly recommend Otterbank.
