My family had a very nice stay at Nanakawa. Service was excellent, beginning from pick up service at Yufuin bus station, kaiseki meal set up and check out service. Also walking distance to Kinrin lake and many shops nearby

Special thanks to Rie san!

Exemplary customer service. Friendly and very helpful. Personal butler made the experience first class. Food was Michelin grade. Walked away from the table stuffed each time.

Rooms were spacious for 2. Indoor and outdoor onsen were good size and very clean.

Would return.

I reached the hotel a bit late, around 6:30pm, I could not find the hotel by GPS, and hotel gave me a call and came to pick us from another hotel, which was nice.
Dinner was amazing, one course by one course slowly.
Two hot springs in the room, indoor and outdoor, extremely comfortable.
Staff were nice too.
3 mins walk to the lake and the gifts Street.
I would recommend this to everyone!!

Currently at Nanakawa in Maisonette Room 114 with private outdoor bath and half board.

From the time we arrived, we have been cared for by Aki Yamada who pre-empted all our needs and ensured our stay in this beautiful place exceeded our expectations.

Our private onsen bath is just devine and hot.

The meals are exquisitely delicious with Aki looking after our menu for the 4 day stay.

The maisonette is very roomy and comfortable. Beds are dreamy to sleep on.

We will be coming back ... And we haven't left yet ❤️

We have stayed in a few Ryoken and this one would be in our top 3 Japan wide.

This ryokan is so conveniently located near a beautiful lake and a short walk from the main shopping street of Yufuin. Set up of rooms are also great; two floors with two private onsen baths! Normal beds and futons, whichever you prefer. Food was plentiful and wonderful. We had a really pleasant service staff who was with us all the way, from check-in to dinner and breakfast. I can still remember her smile! Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Get the rooms with indoor private onsen bath.
