Very gracious and respectful hosts are what Oliver and Isabella are. If you want or need information, they will give you the best advise. Or, if you want privacy, your wish will be respected. This is what we found when we stayed there. 2 cabins far enough apart to be very private with beautiful grounds leading to a pool that was used by us every night to unwind in and relax. Charming little cabins with just enough room for what we needed furnished with everything for our stay. If you're staying in the Ojochal area, this place is a GREAT find!

My boyfriend and I had a terrific stay at Phidjie Lodge, where we rented one of the bungalows for 5 nights. The owners of these lush grounds, Olivier and Isabelle, have taken great care to make this a little tropical paradise for those lucky enough to stumble upon it. The bungalow is cozy, tidy, and well-appointed, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare your own meals, and the shower has hot water and great water pressure! We especially loved taking dips in the pool and having breakfast on the outdoor patio, where we even spotted some iguanas, toucans and other beautiful birds. Olivier and Isabelle were hospitable, flexible and knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome and totally at home during our stay. They also directed us to the most scrumptious places to eat and guided us to serene beaches, stunning vistas and even an adventurous drive to an indigenous town nearby. We feel very lucky to have chosen Phidjie and would definitely recommend it to others.
