Another couple and we stayed there only one night but we all can't wait to get back there again. Carlo was a super host providing amenities and recommendations beyond compare. Everything was tip-top and clean as a whistle. This boutique hotel is a labor of love and it shows. beautiful jungle views and sounds. Don't let the road scare you on the way in, a few ruts on the way but we did it in a compact car. (Rainy season might require a 4-wheel.) Great food and sights nearby. The only thing missing was a bottle opener, but I'm sure that has been added to the flatware by now. You will enjoy.
We spent 12 fabulous days in this peaceful, immaculate jungle setting and wished we could have spent at least 12 more! We were warmly greeted by Carlo, who immediately made us feel welcome and informed. The accomodations are immaculate and provide a beautiful setting in the jungle. Every morning the sounds of the jungle awoke us and we would have our breakfast ( and most meals) on the balcony, high above the ground. Carlo is a very attentive and caring person. He helped us with day trip planning with his wide range of knowledge of the area. He truly feels good about his guests enjoying Eden's Nest. We look forward to coming back to this peaceful, quiet, and rejuvenating setting.
The location of the entire hotel in the middle of the jungle and high up in the trees is amazing. It is an incredible experience to sleep with the noises from the jungle in a very comfortable and well equipped cabin!I We loved having our morning delicious coffee on the deck while watching and listening to the numerous different birds and catching the flight of the Morpho butterflies. Carlo, the owner, is very warm and welcoming and gave us excellent advise for exploring the beaches near by and other attractions. We look forward to our next stay!
the owner Carlo is impeccable, is very attentive and helpful, show you all the hotel amenities the service, the rooms are super comfortable and detailed
Location was great - about 10 minutes drive from the Highway 34 entrance of Ojochal. Very quiet, private facilities, but close to all the great restaurants in the area. There was a big "Welcome" basket in our jungalow, filled with treats, fruit, drinks, coffee, eggs, and more!! The entire area, inside and out, was immaculate, and so well cared for. Many of the room amenities were brand new. There was also a fantastic information binder covering activities, restaurants, tips, etc; extremely impressive.
Even though WiFi was available, we had some trouble connecting on a regular basis as the signal was not very strong. We just used nearby restaurants and businesses' WiFi for a better connectivity during our outings. Also, the safe in the room was removed, but you could store valuables in the main office safe.
I loved having my morning coffee on the deck while listening to the surrounding jungle sounds, and catching the Morpho butterfly as it made its morning flight down the road every day.
We felt like family by the time we left; the Owner, Carlo, was so very warm, welcoming and very helpful. We look forward to our next stay to see all the new additions planned for Eden's Nest.
