Surprised my wife with a romantic weekend getaway here for our wedding anniversary and the look on her face when we arrived was unreal. We aren't wine people and as we were driving down the road she was a bit nervous I'd booked us accommodation at one, but this fantastic little getaway is set on a Macadamia farm where you can collect your own macadamias from the grounds, and enjoy the peace and quiet of your fully self contained cabin nestled on the side of the hill with fantastic views of the valley from your own little verandah. No TV here so just to sit back and enjoy one anothers company and the amazing views. Plenty of wildlife for the avid photographer and even platypus in the creek just a couple of hundred meters away on the property. Paul and Robyn were amazing hosts and the complimentary breakfast hamper with all locally sourced foods was fantastic. It was a shame they had cancellations after the bushfires in the area but it just gave us the whole place to ourselves pretty much.We will definitely be back again and next time it will be for longer than 3 nights as that just isn't time enough to enjoy all the area has to offer including being on the doorstep to Lamington National Park. I recently got married at the O’Reillys Canungra Valley Vineyard and stayed at the Greenlee Cottages with my bridesmaids the night before hand. It was the perfect relaxing stay to warm us up for the excited day ahead. We had our hair and makeup done at the cottage in the morning with perfect natural lighting and a beautiful look for our photographer to get some stunning getting ready shots in. My husband and I then stayed the night of and being 5 mins away from the vineyard made it very convenient for someone to drop the newlyweds home. This then made for the perfect romantic evening we needed after a very long and exciting day.
The breakfast hamper was sorced with delicious local produce and was extremely generous in its size!
The owners both welcomed us to the property when they saw us passing and were able to give us some great tips of the area and best local spots to visit. However, they also gave us all plenty of privacy during our stay.

I would 150% recommended anyone looking to stay at the cottages for a romantic rustic feel time away. And for brides or grooms looking for somewhere to stay in the Canungra area look no further.
