This was our second visit for a winter break on the shores of Loch Long. Camuslongart Cottage is a winner, with a view from the cosy sun-room across the loch to Eilan Donan castle. You can sit and sip your morning coffee watching herons, geese and sandpipers fly by (my last morning I even spotted an otter!), and at night eat your dinner by moonlight. Zoe, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. Easy access to Skye, Applecross, Plockton and other beautiful places. We can't wait to go back!
This cottage is a little gem and very different from many of the soulless boutique style cottages we have seen online. It had character and only wish we could have had the opportunity to sit by the fire. Next time! Authentic personal touches reflect the owner's creativity;loved the charming little kitchen and of course the sunroom that overlooks magnificent Loch Long, which is where we spent our time when we were not soaking up the sun outdoors! The view from the cottage was stunning and totally unexpected! Thank you Zoe for making our visit to Camuslongart such an unforgettable experience. We are smitten and will be back!
