Decided to book this Hotel, due to reviews and price. Wasn't disappointed. Huge rooms, that were lovely and clean and nice bathroom, Onsens (if you like that) something I can't get accustomed to yet! Outdoor swimming pool, and you can walk down one of the little trails to the beach. Great for sunsets and beach combing. It has been said on a clear day you can see Mt Fuji, which we didn't see. We stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast was delicious, both western and Asian food. Tables by the windows have a great view overlooking the sea. Only thing that I didn't like as I am a light sleeper is the noise coming from the corridors and closing of room doors.
There is a free courtesy bus that will take you to and from the train station on a scheduled timetable. If you miss the last bus - you need a taxi - call the Hotel and they will book it for you. As you are in the country the taxi's are few. This Hotel is lovely however it isn't within walking distance to the town/shops - so as we wanted to do our own thing - we rented a car - so don't forget to take an international drivers licence with you. By car it took us approx 15minutes to drive to the town from the Hotel.More
